Private Instruction"Being a good baseball player takes discipline and hard work. If it were easy then everyone would do it"
Private Instruction is a great way to prepare for a season or to stay fresh during a season. Instruction will vary according to the player, everyone is different and requires different instruction or drills.
As an instructor it is not OK to "cookie cut" players. Avoid the instructors that try to make everyone look the same (cookie cut) or believe that there is only one way to hit or pitch. The first lesson will probably be more for me than it is for the player. It is important to spend time with the player to evaluate and determine the correct path of instruction.
After evaluating the player and getting an understanding of what that player wants to work on I will determine the necessary course of action to make the player better. I take things slow as it takes time to change bad habits. Getting to where we want to be will likely not happen in one lesson.
I give lessons at AtBats in Boxborough and The Fieldhouse in Sudbury. During the nice weather months I can come to you to an outdoor field. Please click on the location above for more information on the facility or for directions.
